We seek to fill the following position for one of our clients, a multinational production company, to support their operations in Azerbaijan:
MARKETING MANAGER
The successful candidate for this role should possess:
• Minimum University Degree preferably from Business Administration/Economics from universities of Azerbaijan or abroad. MBA will be an additional asset for a candidate
• Minimum 4 years of experience in brand management, minimum 2 years of category management will be a good asset
• Competency in effective TV Media Management, brand management, financial/budget management & trade marketing.
• Proficiency in “people management” (having subordinates in YTD professional experience) will be an additional asset
• Fluency in English, proficiency in Russian, Azeri & Turkish will be an asset
• Competency in use of MS OFFICE software applications
• Effective time-management, analytical & strategic-thinking skills and be an open-minded, highly-organized, flexible, creative, confident team player
• Excellent planning, execution, communication and presentation skills
Duties and responsibilities:
Marketing Manager will be responsible for taking one of the leading positions in transforming global & regional business objectives firstly, into country commercial strategies, secondly, into marketing & trade marketing support strategies, which will be followed by supervision & execution of brand strategies in the most effective way. Therefore, strategic thinking has to be one of the key competencies of Marketing Manager. He will be also contributing to delivery of targeted operating profit via leading the selection of most optimum (optimum cost, higher return) Advertising Mix. Marketing Manager will not only be responsible for managing Business Top lines, but he will also need to intervene details of brand management, and also execution of action plans derived from brand strategies, such consumer promo campaigns, trade marketing push plans, etc, in order to be sure of perfect implementation of marketing strategies. One of the core objectives of Marketing manager will be “Team Set Up”. As Danone has just started its operations in Caucasus Region, we are still in a stage of setting up a team and their proper development. Therefore, Marketing Manager needs to lead the process of having “right marketing people at right marketing positions” and assure their “right professional development”.
